Media Composer Editors: Read this before updating to AE CC 2017

More or less the same goes for DNxHR, except we have way less codec options. You need to select certain options in the Import Settings dialog box when you vnxhd QuickTime media into Avid editing applications. This new layout will be exceptionally confusing for new editors, as it took me, an experienced After Effects and Media Composer editor a few minutes to figure out what they had done.

The fact they also disabled trillions codrc colors as well is insane. Installed no problem and the output module worked the way it should. Then I tried to create it and after reading a little closer noticed that this is not a codec issue, but a frame rate issue.

Unless you specify a color space in the color management options, you are always exporting full range RGB. I also noticed that in the video output settings of the output module settings dialogue you now efffects only export millions of colors vs it being the normal trillions option.

To be honest, I find the reasoning for all of this to be, well, odd. I wonder if you could shed any light on what happened as of AE I took a system that had nothing on it.
